University Park: Utopian Colony and Suburb on the South Denver Plains – Historic Context and Historic Preservation Priorities

Get your own copy of “University Park: Utopian Colony and Suburb on the South Denver Plains – Historic Context and Historic Preservation Priorities.” This publication is the result of hours of research by Square Moon Consultants (Barbara and Jim Steely) funded by the Historic Denver Action Grant and UPCC.

The 182 pages are filled with historic images, maps and a bibliography. The layout is engaging and produced in color to capture the nuance of each image. It chronicles the establishment of University Park from the 1880s to 1969. This is more than history as the Steelys weave the story of our neighborhood into the epic tale it is. It also includes an extensive architectural style guide filled with photographs and accessible descriptions. It has colored dividers for each time frame and a spiral binding.

Price: $45
